Telegram accounts and one-time SMS numbers: differences in country, validity period and purpose

Differentiate between a full platform account, a one-time SMS number, the number's country/region and long-term recovery capability; understand why obtaining a new number is a separate order.

Accounts, SIM cards and one-time numbers are different

An account product provides the login details listed in its description; an SMS receiving service provides one-time numbers and verification codes for the corresponding platform; SIM cards or long-term number control are a different capability. Unless explicitly agreed, these cannot be inferred from one another.

Country prefixes identify a phone number format and do not indicate the user's real-time location or the account's full history. When entering a number, keep the full country code and follow the target application's input requirements.

Check validity period and cancellation status separately

A received SMS number should be used within the time shown on the order; waiting, code receipt, cancellation and expiration have different meanings. If you do not receive a code, you must still follow the page's specified wait time and cancellation conditions.

Orders for which a verification code has been obtained are not eligible for refunds under 'code not received' conditions. After successful use, obtaining a new number will create and be charged as a new order; pricing should be reconfirmed and cannot be treated as a free reuse of the original number.

Long-term recovery capability requires explicit permissions

A one-time SMS number cannot be considered a permanent recovery method. When buying an account, if long-term phone or email recovery capability is required, you must confirm whether the relevant information and control are included.

Web-based verification codes, desktop sessions and SMS receipt are not the same capability; check which operations the current order supports separately, and if they don't match, communicate via the corresponding order.

FAQ

Can I get another number for free after receiving a verification code?

No. Obtaining another number will create a new order at the current price.

Can a one-time number be used to recover an account long-term?

No. You cannot assume that. Long-term recovery requires explicit control of the number or email.
